Armada acquires Soyuzinform

Armada Group of Companies acquired a controlling stake in Soyuzinform, provider of IT-outsourcing. The sum of$12.3 million was spent to acquire the 55% stake with an optional agreement with Soyuizinform for the remaining shares. Soyuzinform is the first asset Armada has invested its money raised through IPO held in July, 2007. Royal KPN NV (Netherlands) is launching a management-backed bid for IT services company Getronics NV. Getronics helps companies choose, install and manage information and communications systems. French IT services firm Steria is acquiring UK outsourcing supplier Xansa in a deal that will create a combined company with sales of more than $2.03 billion.
