A business brokerage is a company that works as a business broker. The business brokerage represents one business in a transaction, either the buyer or the seller. It is the responsibility of the business brokerage to provide valuation of the company up for sale, bring together potential buyers, facilitate due diligence, etc. A business brokerage can obviously facilitate more transactions at one time than an individual business broker can.

Is the Corum Group a business brokerage?

The Corum Group often helps to represent companies up for sale, so it can certainly fulfill some of the duties of a business brokerage. However, Corum also offers seminars, consultations, and other services beyond that of a business brokerage, making them a full-service mergers and acquisitions company.
