Yesterdays Tech M&A Monthly webcast was one of our best ever. Our new 30-minute format is shorter, but no less rich in invaluable news and information for tech CEOs.

First, we heard about some of the work we are doing with World Financial Symposiums on their Market Spotlight series. Jim Perkins, who moderated a Casual Games spotlight last month, reported on that event, and Jon Scott gave us a preview of next months Enterprise Mobility market spotlight.

Then, Corums research team laid out the deals, trends and valuations from the last month, including a major IT services deal in China, and a key acquisition by Google to boost their small travel and small business tools.

We were then joined by one seller and one buyer. Chris Matthieu, founder of Nodester, an open-source PaaS Cloud firm, shared the story of his acquisition by AppFog, and advice for other CEOs looking to sell. Then, Austin Scee of Versata joined us, with an explanation of his companys status as buyer of last resort, and advice for struggling companies on how to increase their value.

Did you miss this great lineup? If so, I hope youll register for the rebroadcast, Thursday, September 20.
