SeQent - Open Automation Software

Open Automation Software (OAS) has been built on a single premise: that industrial data should be open, should reach beyond the control room, and should not be locked into any one vendor’s format. The OAS Platform connects Allen-Bradley and Siemens controllers, Modbus devices, OPC and OPC UA servers, databases, and cloud services, and logs data and alarms in open formats that any reporting system can query directly. It scales from 100,000 tags on a Raspberry Pi to one million on a Windows or Linux server. The acquisition extends SeQent’s portfolio upstream, from alarm notification and escalation into edge-to-cloud connectivity, data movement,
historization, and visualization.
