About the transaction
EmailDirect, a Sacramento-based provider of email marketing services, was acquired by global provider of Internet services j2 Global, its assets to be combined with j2's Campaigner Email Marketing brand. j2 reports that it will add EmailDirect's features and customers to the Campaigner platform. Those customers include Subway, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Casio, DiscountHotels.com and many others.
