About the transaction
Toronto-based Electronics Workbench, a supplier of electronics design automation software. Corum Group advised Electronics Workbench in its sale to National Instruments.
The Electronics Workbench acquisition adds graphical design and simulation software to the National Instruments platform of graphical development tools.
For us Corum was a pretty straight forward choice. We wanted someone who we thought was the best fit for a private software company, and we didn’t feel like we’d get the attention or the knowledge we needed from a Wall Street bank or the corporate finance arm of one of the big CPA firms.
