Corum Group Managing Director Miro Parizek To Speak At TMT.Ventures Conference 2007
February 28th, Warsaw Stock Exchange - Warsaw, Poland

Zurich, Switzerland (January 23, 2007) Corum Group, the global leader in M&A services to software and IT companies, announces its Strategic Partnership in the TMT.Ventures Conference 2007 to be held February 28th in Warsaw, Poland. In conjunction with this event, Miro Parizek, Managing Director for Corum Group International will be a keynote speaker, discussing: The Trade Sale: M&A - A Normal Part of a Companys Growth Cycle. Mr. Parizek will also participate in a panel discussion relating to Global Investment Strategies.

We decided to support the TMT.Ventures Conference in Warsaw because we continue to see great developments in the local software and IT industry. Currently most entrepreneurs and IT investors in Poland still see the IPO as the only vehicle to achieving liquidity. This will change as the Polish capital market and its technology industry continue to mature; we will then see the trade sale as the most likely avenue to an exit. In fact, internationally the amount of liquidity gained from M&A is about 20 to 1 versus that gained via an IPO, explains Mr. Parizek.

Miro Parizek is one of the most experienced industry advisors having successfully completed dozens of M&A transactions while advising both public and private IT companies on three continents in areas as diverse as compilers, enterprise management, human capital, mining, storage, supply chain and video processing. He is also one of the industrys foremost educators on the Technology Company M&A Process: preparation, valuation, negotiation, and integration. Mr. Parizek began his career as an entrepreneur, co-founding three IT companies prior to joining Corum in 1997. He was also a founding member of the German Software Association (VSI) and served on its board from 1988 until it was merged into the German Association for Digital Economy. Educated at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Parizek earned degrees from both the Wharton School of Business majoring in International Finance and the Moore School of Engineering majoring in Computer Science.

About the TMT.Ventures Conference:

MCI Management (a WSE listed VC fund) and New Europe Events began hosting the annual Venture Capital & Private Equity events in 2001 to create a platform for discussion between investment funds (PE, VC), consulting firms, incubators, technology parks etc. Such a community has a chance of shaping business practices and industry standards but most importantly it may bridge gaps and financing discontinuities between consequent development stages: idea incubation, seed, start-up, expansion,
exit. The long-term objective is to stimulate interest of the ICT industry in cooperation with external financing institutions and to increase the total amount of euros invested in Polish ICT start-ups and growing companies. This event is targeted for the top and business development strategy executives of the ICT industry. Participants also represent boards of directors, marketing and sales departments, analysis and planning departments.
