This morning I attended a presentation co-sponsored by Corum and PricewaterhouseCoopers.  The session focused on the results of the 2008 Canadian Software CEO survey.  This significant piece of work had two very key messages.  The first was that 95% of CEO respondents plan to be acquired in the next four years.  This is a remarkable number and speaks to the view of the IPO markets for Canadian software companies.  The second major observation related to experience. PWC found that one of the major differences between successful companies in the US and much smaller companies in Canada was the role of a been their-done-that management team.  From a Corum point of view we are delighted to  help in both areas.  As the most experienced Software M&A firm in the world we hope that we will be a good partner for those Canadian companies looking for a World-Class exit.
