They are already a major influence on IT spending, and we’ve seen them rise to the point where they have final purchasing power, even over enterprise IT systems. This extends into CMOs prioritizing acquisitions of technologies that tie into the social marketplace, one of their top three priorities, in fact, and you can imagine how that will affect this sector in the coming months and years.
