Frankfurt, Germany -- Miro Parizek, online gaming mergers and acquisitions expert and Corum Group Managing Director, will present a special session on trends in browser and online games M&A entitled M&A Explosion in the Gaming Sector at the Browsergames Forum in Frankfurt on 1 November.

According to Parizek, M&A is an important way for founders to create wealth by selling the companies they have created. Monetizing games is key to success in the industry, but most entrepreneurs are extremely keen on monetizing the shares of companies they have founded; the most likely avenue is via a 'trade sale' i.e. M&A.

Parizek will discuss the eight steps to sell a gaming company and highlight recent large transactions and strategically important smaller deals in the sector. In particular, well look at Zyngas deal activity over the past years and discuss the impact to gaming industry players of such transactions, such as Sonys acquisition of Gaikai, Parizek noted.

Corum Group has a long history of guiding gaming firms to successful transactions, reaching back to pioneering companies such as BrightStar Technologies in the 80s, FormGen, creators of Duke Nukem 3D, in the 90s, and others. Corum is presently representing several gaming companies taking advantage of the current environment.

The two-day Browsergames Forum features high-profile lectures from the movers and shakers of the industry on its current and future topics for online, mobile and cross-platform games companies and offers a unique opportunity for networking with the most influential members in the world of browser and online games.
