For nearly 30 years, Corum has built a tradition of successful partnerships with technology entrepreneurs to guide them through the process of selling up and selling out. Along the way, Corum has built another important tradition to celebrate software M&A success. Each summer, we host our clients on an exclusive salmon fishing trip to remote Langara Lodge in the Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia for some of the worlds best salmon fishing. Its a wonderful escape, a very special experience. For many of us who live elsewhere, its a chance to experience the outdoor lifestyle of the Pacific Northwest. Langara Lodge may be remote, yet its visitors are treated to top drawer service, amenities, food and drink. The trip is a very special celebration of the hard work of our clients to build their companies and the trust they place in Corum to pilot them through the M&A process.

This past summer, one of my clients, Dave Gorman, the co-founder and CEO of Clearview Staffing Software, made the trip to Langara with us. Dave and his partner built their company into a leading provider of software for temporary nurse staffing. In a strategic acquisition, Clearview was bought by API Healthcare, backed by the private equity firm, Francisco Partners, to help create the leader in healthcare workforce management solutions. Dave is an avid photographer. He captured his Langara experience in a photo album that he presented to his Langara colleagues as a Christmas present. He was generous enough to allow us to post his work here. Dave's photography and musical selection do a wonderful job of capturing his Langara experience.
