Last Tuesday, Corum Group partnered with World Financial Symposiums to profile Tech M&A activity in Latin America in a bilingual webcast. The event was well attended by not only technology executives in Latin America, but by CEOs, CFOs and financial representatives from around the world.
Corum Group Vice President, Jeff Brown gave a report looking at the last few years of deals, revealing that only a quarter of buyers of Latin American technology companies are actually located in Latin America. North American, and the US firms in particular, are the primary buyers, with significant interest from Europe as well. The challenge for software executives, Jeff noted, is making those global connections.
Corum CEO Bruce Milne then followed up with advice on how to overcome that challenge, and others, in "8 Stages to an Optimal Outcome," a disciplined process developed out of the largest body of tech M&A achievement in history.
