Corum Leads Sale of CipherSoft to Unify
BELLEVUE, Wash., February 11, 2009 Corum Group Ltd. today announced the acquisition of its client, CipherSoft, a Canada-based software migration company specializing in providing legacy application conversions, consulting, and implementation services, by Unify, a global provider of application modernization solutions.
CipherSoft developed a one-of-a-kind application modernization and migration platform for the Oracle user community which fit in extremely well with Unifys product offering and market focus on migration solutions for global customers, said Marshall Warwaruk, vice president of Corum Group.
The acquisition further expands Unifys portfolio of application migration solutions to address the large number of enterprises using Oracle Forms applications and complements Unifys application modernization strategy, which includes its Composer for Lotus Notes and Composer Sabertooth migration solutions.
