This morning we hosted the Corum 3Q Quarterly webinar which was well attended with software executives from 12 countries participating. Our theme was Tech M&A: Liquidity in Troubled Times and we addressed not just recent M&A deals, trends and valuations, but also the impact of the financial crisis on M&A, and things that software executives can do to sustain their business in troubled times. Bottom line message is that deals are getting done, even in this troubled environment, and that the downturn could be prolonged. Smart software executives should prepare now for an exit that may not be available later if the M&A window closes.
