From the August webcast, SOLD - Sellers Panel, there were several recurring themes that came from the four presenters. Here are three related ones:

  1. Start early in your planning preparation it takes time, and the more prepared you are, the better you will do.
  2. Scan all your documents. With todays data rooms and more rigorous due diligence, you will want to get all documents in a digital format.
  3. Allow enough time to get the buyers' attention, do preliminary due diligence to get an offer (LOI), then do final due diligence/contracts.
