Yesterdays Selling Up Selling Out conference (SUSO) in San Diego was a huge success. A high point of the event was guest speaker Michael McCafferty who spoke on his selling experience. San Diego Software Industries Council graciously co-sponsored the event. Weve worked with them before, and I look forward to doing it again - a very professional and organized group.

The diversity of CEO attendees was impressive, covering businesses in IT Services, Internet, Consumer and Vertical Apps, and Infrastructure.

The capacity crowd was particularly engaged and responsive. They interacted with the speakers and each other sharing stories of success and challenges. Young and seasoned entrepreneurs alike were eager to get advice on what they should do and what to watch out for when preparing and selling their business. Not only were they learning how to sell their business, many were helping each other solve day to day business issues at the breaks. A couple of young CEO entrepreneurs were even planning their next business together.

SUSO proves that it is not only a conference to learn how to sell your company, it's ideal for networking, sharing war stories, and getting real-world practical advice from experts and peers.
