People who will throw away your expensive, four-color brochures may avidly read your newsletter.  They like to see photos of your office or read stories on your latest installations.  People buy from people they like, and newsletters help build this trust.  With the advent of desktop publishing, you no longer need expensive typesetting to do a professional quality newsletter.  Mail (and email) newsletters to your customers and leads, take them to trade shows and give them to your resellers.  If you have a large user and reseller base, you may want a different newsletter for each.  One warning: if you announce a monthly or quarterly newsletter, be sure you keep to the schedule!  This keeps your news timely and shows you are reliable.
