We are facing one of the worst financial crises in history. The U.S. equity market has suffered mayor declines with both the Dow and Nasdaq down over 30% YTD. The U.S. government has stepped in with a bailout plan of $700 billion dollars. In addition, six European countries put $2.3 trillion on the line to provide guarantees and to take other emergency measures to save the banking system from a global collapse. Will this be enough?
