Thomas Eggers
Regional Director

Thomas Eggers has 20 years of experience in the software and telecommunications industry and joined Corum in 2006 as a Regional Director with responsibility for Latin America, Portugal and Spain.

 

Thomas, who was born in São Paulo, Brazil, held several positions in the telecommunications division for Siemens, most recently based in México City, where he was responsible for over US$ 1 billion of business for prepaid, IT and infrastructure equipment across Latin America. Prior to that activity, Thomas shared the responsibility for several strategic assignments, including the forming of Unisphere Inc. and the acquisition of three telecommunication companies in the USA. Thomas also acted as advisor within the Siemens venture capital unit Mustang Ventures for the IP based market.

 

Thomas began his professional career in software.  He represented several software companies from the USA in Germany and helped win Fortune 1000 customers and established extensive reseller networks across Europe.

 

Thomas holds a Business Administration degree from the European School of Management, as well as Banking and Telecommunication Management bachelors. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French, German and English.
