Mark Reed
Executive Vice President
Mark joined Corum in 1997, bringing executive experience in software development, mergers and acquisitions, technology finance, and international business.
Prior to Corum, Mark served as Executive Vice President of a boutique investment bank where he concentrated on private equity financings and arranging cross-border strategic alliances for technology companies. Mark also served as COO of a financial advisory firm counseling multinational organizations such as Shell International Petroleum and the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) on new business development and foreign direct investment into Asia.
During 1999 he took a sabbatical from Corum to join an Internet startup company where he developed the core business plan, was a driving force behind the B2B services, and launched their strategic alliance program.
Before moving into finance, Mark started his career in software development as a developer, architect and project manager creating ERP, vertical market, and financial application software.
Mark studied mathematics and computer science (BSc) at Seattle Pacific University and the University of Washington.
