No students. No blaring music. No dancers.

Just suits & ties.

With over 75,000 people in attendance at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the event would likely be described by companies as the most productive few days of the year. The number of deals and high-level meetings I witnessed at MWC this year was far greater than any I’ve seen at an event of this size/shape/hype/magnitude. Despite all the media attention and the tremendous growth over the past several years, this conference stays true to its initial mission: An annual meeting to conduct Business in the industry of Mobile and related Tech fields.

From a Corum perspective, we were present on behalf of our clients to meet with leaders in Corp. Dev. and with C-level executives from some of the most active tech buyers in the market. While many such events are simply represented by teams of sales & marketing, at MWC the real decision makers were all in Barcelona to get things done.
