On March 12th, I returned from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where my colleagues and I have been hosting events and meetings with one of Corum’s international legal partners, Dentons. Corum has been building a presence in the UAE since 2004, but I couldn’t believe the number of attendees at the conference… even more, the high caliber of the attendees and their companies. We brought together software entrepreneurs from the region, investors (Incubator, Seed, VC and PE), as well as some significant buyers, local media, and our legal partners. Additionally, we invited long-time friend and local entrepreneur, Mohamed Hamedi to tell his stories to the audience -- a CEO who has founded, funded and sold two of his companies out of the Dubai Silicon Oasis.

Oil and Energy may have been the key ingredient in getting them where they are today, but it’s clear that their investment in technology and innovation will be a strong part of the Middle East’s future plans. Corum is excited to be a part of that.
