M&A momemtum

The momentum is there - 2012 is shaping up to be the best year in a decade for Tech M&A. We feel it every week in our conferences which are generating record attendance. In the seminars where I’ve presented over the last few weeks (London, Stockholm, Seattle, and San Diego), the attendees are more serious. Not just privately held sellers, but also the many buyers and investors who attend. Further, the number of unsolicited calls from people who have been approached for a merger are the highest since the dot.com era. It’s all pointing to a banner year for 2012. Looking forward to seeing how the valuation multiples come in for Q1 on April 12 when we present metrics on all 26 sectors in our Tech M&A webinar.
