Smaller deals are attracting significant buyer interest
On the software M&A front we continue to see excellent interest from strategic buyers in small (under $10 million in revenues) technology companies. I have recently closed two deals; have one client under LOI; and a second client with two solid offers. While valuation multiples have been reasonable/acceptable, the deal structure is where I am seeing the most change with higher earnouts and some seller debt the two deal terms most frequently being proposed by strategic buyers.
